About Faith Book Hub

Our Mission Statement at Faith Book Hub

We here at FaithbookHub.com developed these goals after reading this verse:

“Finally brothers, whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is commendable–if there is any moral excellence and if there is any praise–dwell on these things.” Philippians 4:8 HCSB

About Faith Book Hub

At Faith Book Hub it is our goal to help Christians find the best books at a great price. We search the web to find great deals on books we can recommend to you. We examine large publishers and small. We refuse to fall into a trap of only recommending something from mega-church pastors. We promise to evaluate big and small by the same standard and hopefully, find a way of introducing new voices that have important things to say for today’s Christians.

What criteria do we use to judge books at FaithBookHub.com?

1. Orthodoxy. Does this book glorify Christ and fit within our evangelical understanding of Christianity?

2. Quality Writing. Is the book readable? Is the prose accessible?

3. Quality Publishing. If it is an Ebook, is the format free from errors? If it is a physical book, we look at the binding, type and pages for errors, etc.

4. Does it edify? Does the book fulfill its mission of building the body of Christ?

The Faith Book Hub Team

Pastor Chris McComic

Chris is currently the lead pastor of an evangelical free church in western Michigan.  God has richly blessed Chris with an amazing wife and three little children.  After growing up in Texas, Chris has pursued his education at Oklahoma Baptist University in Shawnee, Oklahoma.  While at OBU, he studied and graduated with a B.A. in Applied Ministry with a student ministry emphasis and a minor in Business Administration.  Following college, Chris pursued and received a Master’s of Divinity (with biblical languages) Degree at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, Texas.  He has now spent a little over 20 years in ministry, both as a student pastor and now as a lead / teaching pastor.  During that time, he has continually pursued a pattern of growth and continued learning.  He is constantly trying to deepen his theological understanding and breadth of knowledge.  Therefore, he finds himself reading a whole lot.  Along the journey, Chris has determined that not every book, even some of the popular evangelical books of the day are always that beneficial or even strong in their biblical understanding or approach.  Therefore, Chris is going to help make suggestions along our journey together on our website.  He will make suggestions, give reviews and occasionally provide interviews with authors to help you determine what books might benefit you…even finding you some diamonds among the rough along the way.
