Trivia Question 07.31.14

Answer: C.S. Lewis was born in 1898.

Born as Clive Staples Lewis, C.S. Lewis was an incredibly creative Christian author for all ages. He did in 1963, but his writing is cherished by a wide audience. The Chronicles of Narnia are still published today and have been made into movies. The Screwtape Letters, Mere Christianity, Miracles, The Problem of Pain and other Christian books are still studied and highly revered today. C.S. Lewis had an unusual way of showing how he felt about what was happening during his time period and what concerned him. Friends with J. R. R. Tolkien, he attended Oxford University, was the chair of Mediaeval and Renaissance Literature at Cambridge University and married Joy Davidman Gresham who had converted to Christianity from atheism.
